It is very interesting to see how open our teachers sharing their ideas and past experiences in order to help fellow teachers improve their lessons. I am very encouraged to see all our teachers providing constructive feedback during the protocol sessions. Even the quiet and reserve of us, take the opportunity to share. Teachers who presented their lesson plan are also very open to ideas and willing to learn from feedback given.

This platform has provide all of us the opportunity to share and learn constructively. The learning that occurs during these protocol sessions have benefitted not only the presenter but also all teacher who were involved in the protocol session. I do hope that everyone of us take the opportunity to reflect on the learning that occurs as this will allow us to think deeper.

Set Language & Notation is one of the more language-demanding topics in Maths. Believed Layna has done well in making the concepts easier to “digest” through the use of her examples, esp the Hello-Kitty (or is it Doraemon example).

Perhaps Layna can consider using paper cut-outs to illustrate the concept on Union and Intersection.
